As a country which has the national motto “Unity in Diversity”, Indonesia's size and ethnic diversity has made national identity problematic and debated. Along history of improving cohesive relationship between all ethnics and religious followers, Indonesia has a very important experience, whether in the context of religious tolerance, ethnic relationship, or cultural appreciation. The most dangerous threat is coming from radicalism that is permitting to use violence as the way to struggle for implementing religious doctrines. Indonesia is still facing such problem and still has to struggle to maintain the national stability despite its diversity.
